Michelle Kim Heinze
Born and raised in Germany, Michelle brings a global perspective and a deep commitment to growth and impact to the ALPFA FIU Executive Board.
As a Business Analytics major and international student, she draws on her diverse experiences to foster innovation, collaboration, and inclusivity in everything she does.
Her passion for sustainability and leadership was ignited during her internship with a globally operating logistics company in Miami, where she spearheaded a zero-waste-to-landfill initiative. This experience, coupled with her role as an Undergraduate Assistant Residential Experience Coordinator in FIU Housing and Residential Experience—where she supervises and mentors a team of 10—has honed her skills in strategic planning, team development, and creating impactful change.
For Michelle, personal and professional development go hand in hand. She believes in the transformative power of giving back and is dedicated to helping others—particularly fellow international students—overcome challenges and thrive. Her passion for learning extends beyond academics; she strongly believes that knowledge poses a form of empowerment and is always curious to explore new ideas and perspectives.
With a strong foundation in data-driven decision-making, sustainability, and leadership, Michelle aspires to pursue a career in strategy, consulting, and data analytics.
Through her role at ALPFA FIU, she aims to build a vibrant, supportive community that empowers students to achieve their goals, make meaningful connections, and create lasting impact in their professional and personal lives.
